OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
Focused on the uniqueness of the Malaysian culture and Malaysia's beautiful surroundings, the program incorporates a stimulating and exciting blend of outdoor activities:
Trips to popular and famous spots in Malaysia eg Petronas Twin Towers, Genting Highlands, Cameron Highlands, Penang Island, Historical City of Malacca, Tioman Island and others.
Cultural shows, food fests, carnivals and museum visits.
Sports: hiking, basketball, volleyball, street soccer, table tennis and others.
Camping in the lush tropical forests of the National Park.
Host Family: Students can stay with a Host Family to enable them to spend an important portion of their time involved in the daily life of their Host Family.
METHODOLOGY
Students are engaged in a communicative approach to the English language, daily oral workshops and interaction with peers and mentors, which provide learning opportunities for gaining proficiency in second language acquisition.
Reading and writing workshops focusing on different forms of writing through reflection, daily journals, weekly compositions, as well as working on different projects and presentations. Grammar, vocabulary, idioms, and pronunciation lead students towards speaking with greater confidence.
